1. Four major strands of work
-Communication:  This is so crucial to doing good work and accomplishing all the work that needs to be done.  There has been times when the communication is not as clear as I would like.  I am the type of person who needs to have the whole semester mapped out and then I can plan what to do.  It is getting better now that we are meeting at one again.
-Research:  I love doing research and since we are doing the research on book and authors, and illustrators I am loving it even more.  I am looking forward to all the presentations.
-Technology:  I really like the technology that we have access to this semester.  I have never made a website so this is fun.
-Collarboration:  I love being able to touch base and learn new ideas from my classmates.  We are all very similar and there is hardly any disagreements.

2.  Five Dimensions of Learning
-Confidence and Independence:  I feel very confidant working in Tibbetts, I have worked with students one on one before so I am not nervous.  I also like having the independence with our groups.  It is easier to do your own thing then to have someone tell you what you have to cover.
-Knowledge Content:  I love being able to read all the children's books.  I sometimes forget how awesome it is to read picture books for pleasure.  I read to my children everyday, so I am reading more books then I need to.
-Skills and Strategies:  The main thing we are working on this semester is literature circles.  I love this aspect and will definantly use this in my classroom.  It is so important to be able to share what you are reading and feeling.  It is a beautiful way to get to know students in the classroom.
-Use of prior and emering experience:  I have always loved to read so to be able to share my passion with others is great.  There are always new books and new experiences waiting for us.
-Reflectiveness:  I want to know and remember all the elements of literature circles, because they are so engaging for the students.

EVALUATION:  I think that as of right now I deserve an A in this class.  I have attended every class and have completed all assignments on time.
-suggestions:  Look into other genres and try to enjoy them as much as I do picture books.
-for class:  I wish the assignments were more concrete and explained better.
